Youngest son of Don Beltrán Yañez de Oñez y Loyola and Marina Saenz de Lieona y Balda (the name López de Recalde, though accepted by the Bollandist Father Pien, is a copyist’s blunder), b. in 1491 at the castle of Loyola above Azpeitia in Guipuscoa; d. at Rome, 31 July, 1556. The family arms are: per pale, or, seven bends gules (?vert) for Oñez; argent, pot and chain sable between two grey wolves rampant, for Loyola. The saint was baptized Inigo, after St. Enecus (Innicus), Abbot of Oña: the name Ignatius was assumed in later years, while he was residing in Rome. Roman Catholics really have a lot of saints as compared to born agains who has only The Lord God as their saviour
I PRAY TO GOD THAT I HOPE ONE DAY THERE SHOULD ONLY BE ONE CHURCH BECAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD. AND THIS IS WHAT REALLY GOD WANTS US TO DO. BUT WHAT HAPPENS WE ARE ALL SCATTERED. WE DO NOT NEED ANYONE TO TELL US ABOUT GOD IS OUR ACTION DOES NOT FIT RIGHTEOUSNESS! CHURCHES NOW ARE COLLAPPPSING TOO..
I pray that one day all non-Catholic Christians will not abuse and misuse the Bible like the criminals abusing drugs and guns. The hypocrites criticize the Catholic church, calling them pagans. If it is not for the Catholic church, these so-called (false) Christians like the Born Again, manalistas, aglipayans protestants would have nothing to preach about. They have no authority.
